ALC graduates have undertaken theological study as part of their teaching degree, therefore they do not need to undertake Equip modules. However, all ALC graduates will need to complete the Pathways: Spiritual program provided in Lutheran schools, usually within the first 2 years of employment. This provides an orientation and introduction to Lutheran schools with a spiritual focus.
For ALC graduates teaching Christian Studies, a portfolio of Christian Studies work will be completed and shared with the LSA Christian Studies Officers within the first 2 years of employment in a Lutheran school, which is in addition to Pathways: Spiritual.
Support for this portfolio of work is available from the school's Christian Studies Leader; additional support is available from the LSA Christian Studies Officers. The documents below detail what is required for the portfolio of work.
